VCCM600 - Compact 600W Modular, Conduction Cooled Power Supply
FiDUS Power announces the introduction of the VCCM600S & VCCM600M series of IT & Medically approved conduction cooled power supplies that can deliver a silent 600 Watts and up to 750W of peak power for 5 seconds in a rugged 4x7" package.The VCCM600S gives you the flexibility of a configured, the reliability of a fanless architecture and the ability to remove waste heat via your system enclosure for increased lifetime.
The VCCM600S/M have an input range of 85 to 264VAC and up to four single output modules that can be configured in series/parallel combinations to provide 1.5 to 232VDC and output currents up to 90A. Module outputs can be manually adjusted over a wide range (e.g. 5V Module, 1.5 to 7.5V) and can be controlled remotely. Remote current programming is also available allowing use as a constant current source.

Modular Power ProductsThe nature of the product allows use in a wide range of applications where audible noise needs to be minimal or in sealed enclosures, where heat removal is critical and high reliability a key requirement. Such as in medical devices, laser systems, outdoor communications, broadcast, harsh industrial areas, robotics and military COTS applications.
When the units are conduction cooled the baseplate can operate to 105°C with derating the ambient air temperature range is -40 to +70°C. Efficiencies are up to 90% and standby power is less than 1W. The unit has a very clean design and is able to withstand both commercial & military shock and vibration standards.
The unit has a very full feature set allowing effective integration of monitoring and control within the end application. This includes 5V 1A standby voltage, AC OK DC module good, both individual module and power supply remote on/off, module bias supply, temperature, voltage and output current monitoring.
All models comply with EN55011 /55022 level B conducted and radiated emission standards. The units also meet EN61000-1-2 4th edition immunity standards and SEMI-F47 voltage sag immunity. Further to this the units have been tested to sections of MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810G, MIL-STD-1399 and MIL-STD-704F.
The VCCM600S is certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA60950-1. The Medical VCCM600M is certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60601-1 and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and CE marked to the low voltage and ROHS3 directives.
The products are field and factory configurable: Samples can be delivered for module stock in short lead times to enable you to quickly test and optimise your power solution. All models are backed by a FiDUS 5 year warranty.
