Engineering DC-DC converters into an EN50155 compliant rail package takes time, effort and money, so choosing an off the shelf solution takes out any guess work and development headache to achieve a rail compliant conversion package with the URCD10U, URCD20U and URED40U.
The rail compliant converters offer the full package and not just DC-DC conversion. They are mechanically housed in a DIN rail (optional) chassis complete with vibration proof Wago terminals. All units offer ultra-wide inputs (12:1) facilitating input voltages from 14 to 160V (72V nominal) and output voltages from 3.3V to 24V including +/-12V and +/-15 dual outputs. Their wide input range means no multiple part numbers for different rail regions, simplifying design and maximising buying potential.
The single output units between 3.3V and 24V offer output adjustment via potentiometer of +/-10% (+20% for 15 and 24v models). All units provide operation to 5000m altitude, remote on off, 3KV isolation and a suite of protection functions; overload, overvoltage, undervoltage, over temp and short circuit.
The units offer robust environmental operation with full power output from 75 degrees to 100 degrees at derated power in ruggedised mechanical design conforming to EN61373, MIL-STD-810F, IEC60068-2-27 and IEC6006-2-6.
