YEP150-600W Enclosed Industrial Cost-Effective AC-DC Converters with Active PFC
Following the release of our lower-power YEL series, the YEP power factor corrected and enclosed industrial AC-DC converters push the power of the range up to 600W. The readily available families provide a combination of cost competitiveness and reliability. Suitable for audio/video equipment and industrial systems (EN62368-1), and home appliance applications (EN60335-1 for 150W and 200W models).
The new family provides reliable and affordable AC-DC power converters, for high-volume applications. With robust front ends for added surge protection or 277VAC applications due to the wide input of 90-305VAC and their OVC III compliance.
All models offer output adjustment (via a simple on-board pot) and a suite of full protections: overload, overvoltage, short circuit, and over-temperature. The YEP150 model features remote ON/OFF functionality. The YEP500 & YEP600 include remote sense functionality, to compensate for voltage drops in power transmission at load.
Compliant with EN55032 (conducted and radiated emissions, Class B), the YEP series operates in extreme environments, with a wide temperature range from -30ºC to +70ºC, with altitude operation up to 5000m (with derating).
The YEP series is designed to be a drop-in replacement for the well-known brands. Offering an excellent alternative, if you are facing lead time or performance limitations with your existing industrial enclosed power units.
