300W Convection Cooled, 900W Peak. Perfect power for motors
FiDUS Power announces the introduction of the VKP420 series of IT & Medically approved peak capability power supplies.The high reliability VKP420 is rated at 300W convection cooled, 600W peak for 5 seconds and 900W peak surge for 1 second. This makes it ideal for use in applications containing motors or pumps, where typically the power is only required for short durations but with high current demands. In Industrial or Medical equipment where having no fans is a benefit, the power supply can deal with the continuous current effectively and also the peak demands without having to use a larger high power product that is overrated, with a fan and a higher cost.

VKP420 Datasheet and SpecificationThe series has a 90-264 VAC input range and output models of 12, 24 and 60 VDC. The construction is a U-Channel format in a compact size of 3.7 x 6.6 x 1.46” making significant space savings for system designers. The series is well featured having a standby rail of 5V at 1.5A, remote on/off power good and remote sense. The VKP420 is also BF rated.
EMC performance is of a high-grade meeting EN55022 conducted and radiated emissions, also with 4th Edition IEC60601-1-2 EMC standard, providing a simplified route for system compliance. The VKP420 is certified to IEC/EN/UL/CSA 60950-1, IEC/EN/CSA 60601-1 and ANSI/AMMI 60601-1 Edition 3.1.
