New AMC series – ITE/AV 62368-1 approved 5-60W PCB mount AC-DC power supplies
Today FiDUS Power is pleased to announce the launch of the new AMC series of encapsulated PCB-mount AC-DC power supplies. This new product family can be utilised both in ITE/AV (62368-1) & household (60335-1) electronic systems.The range consists of 6 power level variants (5W to 60W), helping system designers get a close-fit, reliable and cost-effective encapsulated AC-DC power solution. Released today are:
AMC05S – 5W – 37 x 27.5 x 17.5mm – 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 24V
AMC10S - 10W – 37 x 27.5 x 20mm – 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V
AMC25 – 25W – 52.5 x 27.5 x 23.5mm – 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V
AMC30 – 30W – 64 x 45 x 23.5mm – 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V
AMC50 – 50W – 74.2 x 47 x 23.1mm – 12V, 15V, 24V
AMC60 – 60W – 74.2 x 47 x 23.1mm – 12V, 15V, 24V

PCB Mount ProductsThe series has been designed to offer excellent bang-for-your-buck, ensuring designers can keep BOM costs down whilst still ensuring high reliability, performance and compliance. All models are certified to the latest UL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standard for AV/ITE equipment and offer level B EMC performance without the need for additional components.
The AMC range has a Class II construction (no earth) and has been designed and produced in accordance with IEC/EN 60335-1 safety for household appliances. This provides suitability for a wide range of applications from standby power systems for professional electronics, to building automation and domestic ventilation products.
Users will benefit from unique, value-adding qualities in each of the models available. For instance, the 5-50W models cover an ultra-wide input range of 90-305VAC, allowing for 277VAC nominal input, whilst the AMC50 & 60 are uniquely low profile, allowing customers to utilise maximum power from tight spaces.
