The new TCF85 series of chassis mount, AC-DC converters offers a whopping 85W of power in an ultra-dense 3 x 1.5” package. With power density of 14.99W/In3, this makes an improvement of 5.58W/In3 on our nearest comparable product to help modernize your next sleek design.
Eight single output voltages are available over the range 5 to 48VDC and the power supplies are protected against short circuit, over temperature, over voltage and overload. The units deliver up to 85W with 10CFM and up to 65W in convection.
All models meet the latest general safety approvals EN/IEC/UL 623681-1 (2nd Ed), also meet FCC Part-15, CISPR-32, EN55032 class B emission limits and EN55035 with no additional components, and are CE marked conforming to the latest RoHS approval. The family offers 90 to 264 VAC (47 to 63 Hz) universal input with derating from as low as 100 VAC, providing full output power worldwide.
The conducted emissions of the units are very impressive with a large margin of clearance for minimum EMC mitigation requirements for noisy loads.
As with most Fidus power supplies, engineering samples can be delivered from stock on short lead-times, and 3D drawings are available from our website for smooth integration.
