35-100W enclosed AC-DC converters for AV / industrial / home systems: cost effective and short lead times
The new YEL family provides reliable and affordable AC-DC power converters for high volume home appliances (requiring EN60335-1) or industrial applications (requiring EN/UL 62368-1), with robust front ends for overvoltage category III applications that may be directly connected to the consumer unit.
The low profile YEL range is designed to meet the transformer standard EN61558-2-16 which is more stringent than the industrial requirement, enabling their certified usage in home appliance products such as:
- Boiler control
- Coffee machines
- Washing machines
- Dishwashers
- Extractor fans
- Smart home automation
For further domestic compatibility all the units conform to EN55032 level B conducted and radiated EMC emissions, to ensure harmony with other electrical devices in the home.
For worldwide use, the units perform well at low line AC enabling full power to USA territories without derating and can perform in ambient temperatures of up to 70 degrees. For ease of integration, the units are designed to be a drop-in replacement for other well-known brands in this format.
