FiDUS Power announces the release of the ULP40 & MULP40, IT and medically approved 40W power supplies.
The lowest profile power supply in its class
The (M)ULP40 is the lowest profile power supply in its class. At only 0.75” tall it offers system designers space saving benefits compared to other 2 x 3” footprint products in the market. The units also come in both open frame/ chassis mount and PCB mount versions. With a very clean looking design it exudes quality and offers excellent electrical performance in a compact design and at very competitive prices.
The ranges have an 85-264VAC input and can supply 40W convection cooled across an operating temperature range of -40 to 70°C. 7 output voltage versions are available from 5-58V.
Fully approved modified output versions can be quickly supplied to better suit your specific needs. The units come with connector, screw terminal and PCB Mount versions and a cover kit is an option.
The EMC standard performance is very good making designer’s life easier when going for system approval; the MULP40 meeting the latest medical requirement IEC60601-1-2 4th edition. The ranges are fully safety approved; the ULP40 series meeting UL/CSA/IEC/EN60950-1 and the MULP40 meeting ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 and ZEC/CSA/EN60601-1 3rd edition medical standards.
