500W Medical Power Supply in 3 x 5 Inch Footprint
The new medical open frame AC-DC RHM500 and RHM500P are rated at 500W with 25CFM and provide 7 different output voltages from 12 to 48VDC. The RHM500P has an additional 5V / 2A standby rail and remote on off. The units offer continuous protection from short circuit, overload and overvoltage conditions as standard.

This makes them ideal for both design reviews of existing products with their price competitiveness, or for use in new projects that may not require any supplementary EMC filtering as a result of their good performance:
The RHM500 and RHM500P have a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70°C, offer low no-load power consumption and feature a FiDUS 5-year warranty.
These new power supplies future proof designs with the latest medical approvals; safety IEC 60601-1 (ed 3.1) and EMC immunity IEC 60601-1-2 (ed 4). The series feature 2x MOPP 4000VAC input to output isolation and are suitable for body floating (BF) applied part applications. They offer truly universal input performance for global use without derating from a powerful compact package.
Typical applications include patient monitors, ultrasound systems, blood chemistry analysers, medical imaging, medical and cosmetic lasers and patient contact tools.
