AFR 130-500W conduction cooled AC-DC PSUs increase power density in common footprints, operation up to 80°C
The AFR130, 250 and 500 open frame chassis mount PSUs offer more power in the common power supply footprints than ever before.
The family offers a comprehensive mechanical list of variants; open frame, U channel and covered (U channel and top fan versions only for AFR500). Units that are installed in certified mechanics offer extra conduction cooling efficiency and ruggedness with a partially potted PCB. All the units have the major rail voltage variants of 12, 24 and 48V. The high temperature of operation and conduction cooling make these units the ideal choice for installations in a sealed enclosure where additional heat is unwelcome.

CONDUCTION COOLEDThe units offer IEC62368-1, the latest in safety approval for ITE and AV equipment, and certified to EN55032 level B conducted and radiated (radiated level A only for AFR500). The isolation voltages are higher than usual permitting operation to 5km; input to output 4KV, input to ground 2KV and output to ground 1.5KV. All units offer the comprehensive protection suite of over voltage, over current and over temperature. The units are featured with output voltage adjust of +/-5% (10% on AFR130) to trim to a required voltage, for example for volt drop compensation on long cables.
