New Medical VPS family offering 600, 800 & 1000W Units with Current Share Expands the Chassis Mount AC-DC Range to 2700W
The Versatile Power Series offer medical system designers flexible system power solutions from 600 to 1000 watts. The Medical Versatile Power Series allows customers to use this product range in multiple applications where standardising on a single reference power platform is key for simplifying installation footprints rather than stocking many different power supply variants with different mechanical installation requirements.Common features across the affordable Medical Versatile Power Series include the latest approvals for safety IEC 60601-1 (ed 3.1 BF rated) and EMC immunity IEC 60601-1-2 (ed 4) for future proofing designs. Other key features include universal input range, output voltages from 12 to 58VDC for use worldwide. They all have low inrush current of 25A maximum to allow parallel AC primary connection of up to 3 units when using the load share function to support more demanding applications, delivering up to 2700W. There is a +/-3% output voltage adjust and remote sense to assist with voltage drop on longer cable runs. The signal I/O includes; power good signal, remote on/off, load share, current limit and 5V standby for control and monitoring. A wide range of mechanical variants are available: U channel, covered, slotted covered (fully covered only for 1000W) to suit your mechanical installation preferences. The 600 and 800W models allow peaks of up to 1000W for 500mS, great for motor driving and cost optimising for dynamic loads.

OPEN FRAME / CHASSIS MOUNTThe 600W and 800W models measure 5 x 8.5 x 1.61 inches and the 1000W unit has dimensions of 5 x 9.51 x 1.61 inches, both suitable for 1U installations. All models feature over temperature protection, over voltage protection, over current protection and short circuit protection and an operating temperature from -40 to +70°C (with derating).
All models are backed by a 5-year warranty and have 3D step files readily available for quick CAD integration.
