TAD50 5 sec 70W peak OVC III AC-DC PSUs perform in temperatures up to 85 degrees
The new compact 3 x 1.5” footprint complements the rest of the TAD and TAD-P family with its fantastic overload capability. The high temperature of operation make these units the ideal choice for installations in a sealed enclosure where additional heat can build up, or where thermal management is difficult.
The TAD50 series features full protection against output short-circuit (continuous, automatic recovery), over-load (hiccup mode, automatic recovery) and output over-voltage (latch mode). The TAD50 series allows operating altitudes of up to 5000m and has a 3kVac/ 1 minute reinforced I/O-insulation and over voltage category OVC III. The integrated EMC filter complies with EN 55032, class B for conducted and radiated emission.
The units offer IEC 62368-1, the latest in safety approval for ITE and AV equipment. The family are available in 10 output voltages from 5V to 53Vand are featured with output voltage adjust of up to -20% to +10% to trim to a required voltage, for example for volt drop compensation on long cables. Model variants include molex, JST or screw terminals, Class I or II (without earth) options.
